My good friend, Amy (amysmithr on the NS boards) stayed up all night working on this, so I thought I'd share because it's TOO COOL! Thanks, Amy!

What a summer!!

Wow, August is a day and a half away and the summer has flown by, as usual. This summer, though, was maybe a little more stressful than most. Let's see, I've moved across the state from a 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom house to a 2 bedroom condo, got a new job, and started treatment for breast cancer.

I did, however, get a chance to be a princess for a few days last week in New York City and it made everything else just melt away for a little while. I got to spend 3 days with some wonderful friends and really got the royal treatment, limos and all!

Because these 5 other women and I have helped each other maintain our weightlosses, the magazine First wanted to do a story on us so they invited us to NY for a photo shoot. It was SO MUCH FUN! Here are a few pics from the shoot and also with some friends. It was great to see not only the five from the shoot (Amy, Tracie, Emily, Sharon, and Brenda) but I also got to see some other fun NS buddies.

I'll treasure the memories of this trip for a long long time! It'll give me something to think about while they're zapping me with radiation this week :-)
At the shoot -

Getting my hair done by a wickedly good hair stylist!

Five of us at dinner at a FANTASTIC restaurant - Opia! I think that was Destiny's Child sitting behind us. Can you tell? LOL!

Yummy Dessert!

I made this yummy dessert last night. All it is is Sugar Free/Fat Free Cheesecake flavored pudding, but I crunched up 1/2 of a graham cracker and put that in the bottom of the bowl first, then I cooked up some blueberries with Splenda and let that cool and used that as topping. Delish!
